2026 LeadingAge Oklahoma Activity and Social Services Director Certification Training
LeadingAge Oklahoma is proud to offer a comprehensive training program designed to meet the educational needs of activity and social services professionals working in long-term care. This program equips participants with the knowledge and skills needed to design and deliver meaningful, engaging activities that enhance residents’ quality of life and support person-centered care.
This course focuses on planning and implementing activities for both individuals and groups, as well as evaluating resident responses to ensure programs align with individualized care plan goals. Emphasis is placed on understanding the diverse needs of long-term care residents and offering a wide range of activity options—including creative, spiritual, physical, social, educational, and sensory experiences.
Participants will leave empowered to create, implement, and evaluate resident-centered programs that foster connection, purpose, and well-being, while developing the compassion and passion essential to excellence in this vital role.

This program is presented in partnership with the National Council of Certified Activities Professionals (NCCAP) and is taught by Dr. Haley Mosely, ACC, CADDCT, CDCS. Dr. Mosely is an educator and consultant with ActivTimes Consulting and Education and brings more than 25 years of experience in senior care activities. She currently serves as President of the Activity Professionals Association of Greater Dallas and holds a Doctorate in Education from Dallas Baptist University.
