Trinity Woods

Trinity Woods (formerly Oklahoma Methodist Manor) is searching to fill an immediate vacancy for Chief Financial Officer. I am writing today in the hope that someone you know might be interested in learning more about this exciting opportunity.

We seek an experience senior-level finance or accounting professional to fill this key position in our organization. This position is responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of Trinity Woods. The position provides leadership and coordination in the administrative, business planning, accounting, finance, and budgeting functions.

Affiliated with the Oklahoma Conference of the United Methodist Church, Trinity Woods is a faith-based non-profit organization governed by a 22-member Board of Directors.

The Trinity Woods campus recently completed a major repositioning of its 40-acre mid-town campus. Over the past 15 years this has included renovation of its traditional nursing home into six households, construction of 102 new apartment residences in the Crestwood building and construction of The Spann Wellness Center. In 2010, the new 3-story Holliman center opened with forty assisted living accommodations. In 2021 two new Memory Care Households and a new Community Life Center opened.

Housing Manager

We need an experienced Regional Housing Manager (RHM) in Oklahoma City. The housing manager is responsible for providing effective, professional general management and sound leadership to property management team. The RHM is accountable for creating a team that delivers excellent financial performance, resident satisfaction, while fulfilling the special human services mission of VOA.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of housing management experience OR 7 years of transferable experience OR a combination of education and experience
  • Leadership experience
  • Proven, effective and professional affordable housing experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proven understanding of regulatory requirements related to income restrictions, regulatory issues, and property owner expectations
  • Strong knowledge of affordable housing property management including related financial statements, computer systems / software, regulatory programs, marketing and leasing programs, physical asset knowledge, LIHTC, HUD, Tax Credit, Bond and Conventional financed occupancy related programs
  • COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist) certification required within 6 months of hire
  • HCCP (Housing Credit Certified Professional) certification required within 6 months of hire
  • This job is office based, but will require up to 50% travel to property sites; sometimes outside of normal business hours

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of supervisory experience
  • 5 years of multi-site operations experience

We need an experienced property manager to fill the Community Administrator position in the Oklahoma City area. The administrator is responsible for the daily operations and management of the entire senior housing community, or communities, including supervision of staff, building maintenance, all administrative duties for both internal and external agencies, and maintaining consistent, high quality, positive relationships with the residents in support of the mission of Volunteers of America and housing principles.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and community.
  • Ability to solve problems involving residents, personnel, finances, equipment failure, emergency situations, and willingness to substitute for any position when needed.
  • Competent user of all MS Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Must be self-motivated, capable of monitoring multiple responsibilities simultaneously and be able to respond to changing priorities.
  • Must possess critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Must have attention to detail, good judgment and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with others.
  • Planning and time management skills.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of property management or related experience required

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ consecutive years of experience as a Community Administrator, Property Manager or Assistant Community Administrator, Property Manager
  • 3+ years of experience in Affordable Housing; Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) and Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) certification.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required

Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations:

  • COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist) required within 6 months of hire
  • HCCP (Housing Credit Certified Professional) required within 6 months of hire
